Considering the whole point of the battle was to save the sister in the first place, and that the brother was in terrible anguish about his sister being taken hostage, suddenly disregarding anything she says and her clearly trying to communicate something gravely important comes off as 🅢🅗🅘🅣 writing.
The sister herself is yelling for the brother to stop multiple times, the characters COMPLETELY ignore that. After you battle and defeat the general in-game, the brother tries to kill the general, but the sister jumps in front of his spear and is impaled.ĭuring the battle the general is constantly saying "I shall protect the queen, I will not let you harm the queen, even if it costs me my life I shall save her!", the characters COMPLETELY ignore that. Unbeknownst to him, the sister has persuaded the enemy general to switch sides and protect her. Surviving brother assembles an army and liberates the sister. I'm gonna spoil it so you hopefully don't waste your time:īrother and sister of the royal family are separated after an enemy general kills their older brother. Getting strung along for 30 hours just for the characters to do something so stupid should be grounds for an automatic refund. Absolutely, utterly, pants-on-head idiotic plot twist in chapter 16.
